Avodah is our answer to a question we kept asking ourselves: why is it so hard to find a soft drink made with real ingredients, genuine flavour and a reason to exist beyond the shelf?
The Name
Avodah (ah-voh-DAH) is a Hebrew word — עֲבוֹדָה — that carries three meanings at once: work, worship and service. It describes a life where what you do and why you do it are inseparable.
That felt right for us. Every bottle we make is an act of work — done carefully and with intention. It is an act of worship — made with gratitude for something greater than profit. And it is an act of service — to the people who drink it, to our community and to our values.

Avodah begins where most soft drinks don’t — with a proper lemonade made from fresh lemons. Not juice from concentrate. Not a flavoured syrup base. Real lemons.
We then combine that with our Jackson Roze Signature Ginger Compound — the same ginger character that has been at the heart of our family’s craft for generations — and carefully selected real fruits, botanicals and tea.
The result is a range of still, non-alcoholic drinks with genuine flavour, a distinctive warming finish and nothing artificial. No artificial flavours or colours. No artificial sweeteners. No artificial preservatives. No added sulphites. No fortified powders. Just real ingredients, naturally occurring vitamins and minerals, and our unmistakable ginger character.

Freshly juiced lemon balanced with our Jackson Roze Signature Ginger Compound. Bright, zesty and gently warming — clean, lively and refreshing. High in vitamin C.
Strawberry Ginger Lemonade
Juicy strawberry and freshly juiced lemon meet our Signature Ginger Compound for a beautifully balanced finish. Fruity, vibrant and refreshing. High in vitamin C and iron.
Ginger Peach Green Tea
Peach, Japanese Sencha green tea and our Signature Ginger Compound create a light drink with a soft botanical finish. Light, fruity and gently warming. Naturally high in vitamin C.

The Story Behind Avodah
Avodah began with a simple frustration: we wanted a soft drink that genuinely hit the spot.
As a family, we had grown tired of syrup-based drinks that tasted overly sweet, artificial and commercial. During our travels across America, we fell in love with the fresh lemonades sold from little roadside and street-corner stands—made with real lemons rather than flavourings or concentrated juice. They were simple, refreshing and full of genuine flavour.
Naturally, we could not leave it there. Our love of classic lemonade soon inspired a fresh strawberry version, combining real fruit with the bright, refreshing taste of lemon.
For our founder, Nicky, peach iced tea has always been a personal favourite. During a visit to Philadelphia, she discovered a freshly made ginger peach iced tea and was immediately convinced that this was the next direction for the range. Its combination of juicy peach, delicate tea and warming ginger tasted completely different from the mass-produced high-street versions she had tried before.
Bringing these inspirations home, we combined them with our Jackson Roze Signature Ginger Compound to create three distinctive drinks: Ginger Lemonade, Strawberry Ginger Lemonade and Ginger Peach Green Tea.
